ABOUT

Jackman Maine's blog is brought to you by Tami and Steve at Cozy Cove Cabins. Our goal is to bring you all the latest tidbits and happening not only here at Cozy Cove but around the region. We will provide with the actual weather as we see it, fishing conditions or at least what our guests say they are catching, moose sightings, trail conditions, and simply, anything we want to pass on to you. Topics could be just about anything but we will try to maintain within the listed categories.

This is also where we will post any BLOG SPECIALS for our cabins. We will list them under the Cozy Cove Cabins Category. All of our discounts follow the same guidelines:
* A 2 night minimum stay
* Payment must be made by cash or check
* Not applicable with any other web or cabin discount
* You must mention that "you saw it on the blog" when you first call for the reservation

SO thank you for stopping in and welcome to our Jackman Maine Blog. We hope you enjoy keeping up to date with us and please, feel free to add a comment, offer more details, or provide information for the author or other our readers. Many children also enjoy this blog so please, keep it clean!

Remember that all of the information we post on our blog is copy protected, but we are not opposed to sharing. If there is ever an image or a story you would like to use, please ask us about it.

If you want to know more about staying at Cozy Cove Cabins, come on over to our website and explore. We look forward to meeting you.

Win a FREE night at Cozy Cove Cabins!

April 26, 2008 | 8 comments

Now as we are getting closer to "ICE OUT" on Big Wood Lake and we have the WEBCAM facing the lake, here is an opportunity to stay free at our cabins. AND have a little fun trying to figure out the day the ice will go out.

How this will work:
Send us an email or add a comment to this post with your guess as to the date the ice will go out. The exact date will be what the Town of Jackman records as the ice out date for 2008. Whomever wins that date, will win a one night stay for 2 (about a $65.00 value ).

Be sure to send us your email address too so we can get in touch with you. It will not be posted on the comment, but we do need to know it.
You must submit your date before May 1st to be eligible.

The latest it has gone out looks to be on May 19 in 1972.

\"My guess for ice out is May 20. I left my guess on your blog, but I wanted to also send it with email. I have been hunting in Jackman for many years and totally enjoy your web cam.\" Shawn

I copied this from an email Shawn sent me because it did not show as a comment on the blog. Please remember to put in the security code name and email or it will not come to me. After you submit a comment, scroll down to assure it was accepted. I guess this is something we need to work on for you all. Tami
