ABOUT

Jackman Maine's blog is brought to you by Tami and Steve at Cozy Cove Cabins. Our goal is to bring you all the latest tidbits and happening not only here at Cozy Cove but around the region. We will provide with the actual weather as we see it, fishing conditions or at least what our guests say they are catching, moose sightings, trail conditions, and simply, anything we want to pass on to you. Topics could be just about anything but we will try to maintain within the listed categories.

This is also where we will post any BLOG SPECIALS for our cabins. We will list them under the Cozy Cove Cabins Category. All of our discounts follow the same guidelines:
* A 2 night minimum stay
* Payment must be made by cash or check
* Not applicable with any other web or cabin discount
* You must mention that "you saw it on the blog" when you first call for the reservation

SO thank you for stopping in and welcome to our Jackman Maine Blog. We hope you enjoy keeping up to date with us and please, feel free to add a comment, offer more details, or provide information for the author or other our readers. Many children also enjoy this blog so please, keep it clean!

Remember that all of the information we post on our blog is copy protected, but we are not opposed to sharing. If there is ever an image or a story you would like to use, please ask us about it.

If you want to know more about staying at Cozy Cove Cabins, come on over to our website and explore. We look forward to meeting you.

Moose Point Tavern CLOSED!

June 25, 2007 | 1 comments

Last night was the LAST NIGHT for Moose Point Tavern. Luckily, we were able to get away and luckily, they still had Pork Medallions on the menu.

The Tavern, its owners, and their food will be greatly missed in this area. Wish someone rich could buy it so that the money did not matter

We just got confirmation to a rumor that Moose Point Tavern will be closing in a few weeks...for good

Many of our guests enjoyed this restaurant not only for the great food but also for the ambiance and view it provided. The dining area overlooked Big Wood lake and the awesome sunsets. It even had a deck for outdoor dining. Some of our guests only came to the region to celebrate an anniversary or a birthday at the Tavern.

Having the Moose Point Tavern as one of our dining options in the area will indeed be greatly missed.

We wish the best for Carolann in whatever other adventure she encounters. Visit her site to show her your support at http://www.moosepointtavern.com/

Is Moose Point Tavern still closed today?
Yes Kate, it closed in 2007 and I do not know of any plans for it to reopen. Sorry
