ABOUT

Jackman Maine's blog is brought to you by Tami and Steve at Cozy Cove Cabins. Our goal is to bring you all the latest tidbits and happening not only here at Cozy Cove but around the region. We will provide with the actual weather as we see it, fishing conditions or at least what our guests say they are catching, moose sightings, trail conditions, and simply, anything we want to pass on to you. Topics could be just about anything but we will try to maintain within the listed categories.

This is also where we will post any BLOG SPECIALS for our cabins. We will list them under the Cozy Cove Cabins Category. All of our discounts follow the same guidelines:
* A 2 night minimum stay
* Payment must be made by cash or check
* Not applicable with any other web or cabin discount
* You must mention that "you saw it on the blog" when you first call for the reservation

SO thank you for stopping in and welcome to our Jackman Maine Blog. We hope you enjoy keeping up to date with us and please, feel free to add a comment, offer more details, or provide information for the author or other our readers. Many children also enjoy this blog so please, keep it clean!

Remember that all of the information we post on our blog is copy protected, but we are not opposed to sharing. If there is ever an image or a story you would like to use, please ask us about it.

If you want to know more about staying at Cozy Cove Cabins, come on over to our website and explore. We look forward to meeting you.

HAPPY THANKSGIVING FROM JACKMAN MAINE

November 21, 2006 | 0 comments

This is the last week of Deer Season (firearm) and finally, the weather is as it should be. It was so warm and rainy last week, I was surprised at the number of deer tagged...3 of our guests got theirs
(Do remind me to tell you all later of a story one of our hunter's shared with us about Moose and their territory.)

Hunters Supper was last Thursday and as always, a great success.

Anyhow, back to the weather. The temperatures are in the low 20's ... could be in the teens tonight
We even had a dusting of snow this week in town. I think there was much more in the mountains though. We went into St. Georges yesterday and at the border, there was more snow and by the time we hit St Georges, they had about an inch. They must be a little higher altitude than us.

Now for the main purpose of this entry

WE, Tami, Steve and even Murphy, HOPE YOU ALL HAVE A WONDERFUL THANKSGIVING THIS YEAR FILLED WITH FAMILY, LOVED ONES AND MANY GOOD BLESSINGS

I know we are thankful for the cold weather and look forward to a snowy December!

THINK SNOW
