ABOUT

Jackman Maine's blog is brought to you by Tami and Steve at Cozy Cove Cabins. Our goal is to bring you all the latest tidbits and happening not only here at Cozy Cove but around the region. We will provide with the actual weather as we see it, fishing conditions or at least what our guests say they are catching, moose sightings, trail conditions, and simply, anything we want to pass on to you. Topics could be just about anything but we will try to maintain within the listed categories.

This is also where we will post any BLOG SPECIALS for our cabins. We will list them under the Cozy Cove Cabins Category. All of our discounts follow the same guidelines:
* A 2 night minimum stay
* Payment must be made by cash or check
* Not applicable with any other web or cabin discount
* You must mention that "you saw it on the blog" when you first call for the reservation

SO thank you for stopping in and welcome to our Jackman Maine Blog. We hope you enjoy keeping up to date with us and please, feel free to add a comment, offer more details, or provide information for the author or other our readers. Many children also enjoy this blog so please, keep it clean!

Remember that all of the information we post on our blog is copy protected, but we are not opposed to sharing. If there is ever an image or a story you would like to use, please ask us about it.

If you want to know more about staying at Cozy Cove Cabins, come on over to our website and explore. We look forward to meeting you.

Play in the snow this winter

February 15, 2011 | 0 comments

Yes it is true. There is so much more to do in Jackman in the winter then snowmobile or ice fish. Pull out those cross country skis and make tracks.

Did you get a new snowboard this year? What better way to learn without paying extra at a ski resort?

Bring the kids up and just play outside. Remember when we were kids...what fun it was to build an igloo, or throw snowballs.

Even if you are not an outdoor person, you have to appreciate the beauty of a snowy field as you drive along a road,

the glistening of snow as the sun shines on it, or simply, enjoy a game of monopoly with the family or your friends in a warm cabin.

Just getting away from your daily hustle and bustle to beat the winter humdrum is so worth the trip. So come on up to Cozy Cove Cabins, be a kid again and enjoy the fun parts of winter (when you are not the one who has to do the shoveling )
