ABOUT

Jackman Maine's blog is brought to you by Tami and Steve at Cozy Cove Cabins. Our goal is to bring you all the latest tidbits and happening not only here at Cozy Cove but around the region. We will provide with the actual weather as we see it, fishing conditions or at least what our guests say they are catching, moose sightings, trail conditions, and simply, anything we want to pass on to you. Topics could be just about anything but we will try to maintain within the listed categories.

This is also where we will post any BLOG SPECIALS for our cabins. We will list them under the Cozy Cove Cabins Category. All of our discounts follow the same guidelines:
* A 2 night minimum stay
* Payment must be made by cash or check
* Not applicable with any other web or cabin discount
* You must mention that "you saw it on the blog" when you first call for the reservation

SO thank you for stopping in and welcome to our Jackman Maine Blog. We hope you enjoy keeping up to date with us and please, feel free to add a comment, offer more details, or provide information for the author or other our readers. Many children also enjoy this blog so please, keep it clean!

Remember that all of the information we post on our blog is copy protected, but we are not opposed to sharing. If there is ever an image or a story you would like to use, please ask us about it.

If you want to know more about staying at Cozy Cove Cabins, come on over to our website and explore. We look forward to meeting you.

4th of July 2010

June 23, 2010 | 1 comments

This year, Jackmans 4th of July events will take place on July 3rd. Starting at 4pm, Locals and visitors will line up on Main street to watch the parade. Dot, who has been organizing the parade the past few years, is still trying to find a marching band. Last I heard, she had no luck. BUT local residents and businesses all join in the fun making floats in hopes to win a prize.
At 9pm, everyone will gather at the town hall field for some great fireworks.

Hope to see you there!

COMMENTS

What did everyone think of the fireworks this year?

Personally, Dan, I thought they were FANTASTIC! The only critic I had were that there seemed to be too much of a pause between them at times. But also, I thought that the grand finale happened twice...then they kept going so all in all, much better then years past.
